Storyboards are the blueprints of a digital story. A storyboard consists of drawings and notes in frames. Each frame represents a scene in the video story.  Some storyboards are basic, only consisting of empty frames. Other storyboards require more details such as having learners outline the music, characters, dialogue, sounds, narration, transitions, script, lighting, special effects, and scenery.

For this task, you will complete a storyboard for a short film you hope to make.

Imagine that you are pitching a movie idea to a director. For this activity, your tutor will act as the director. Your movie can be about anything and in any genre- a stopmotion movie, a horror flick, an animated movie and so forth.

NOTE: You will only complete the storyboard. You will not actually create the film. A storyboard template is attached to help you, but you can use web tools if you prefer.

Follow these instructions to complete the storyboard:

1st. Download the attached storyboard template and complete it with the necessary details. If these details do not apply, please write so. Do not leave any area blank. Alternatively, you could complete your storyboard using one of these free tools, but it must be at least 6 frames long.

• Storyboard That - Choose the 2 X3 option.

• Storyboard Generator - Follow the instructions to create a storyboard that is at least 2X3.

• Storyboard Template for Google Drive - Use Google Draw or upload images

• Storyboard Maker free Android app

When you finish your storyboard, click on the Add submission button below and submit your storyboard in a text file or post the link, then click Save changes  so your contribution is recorded. Once registered, you can modify at any time by clicking on  Edit my submission, until you send it for grading by clicking on  Submit Job.
