Collaborative Storytelling: A Look at Teacher Projects

A successful collaborative story project will showcase the creativity and thoughts of each individual that contributed to the project. The story will be the product of students working together and learning from each other. The students will be able to appreciate the skills and talents each has to offer in each stage of the story’s development from planning the story, editing the story, to producing the story.

When implementing a collaborative story project, the teacher should consider the type of group work that will take place. Will learners work in pairs, in small groups, with the entire class, or with another class in a different city, state, or country?
